Who wants to play Nahual in a cyberpunk future where angels no longer exist, only synthetic replicas that from time to time go rogue and need to be put down? Yes! I'm pretty excited about this playset and I'm sure some of you will be too. And the best thing is, if unlocked, it will be included in the printed Dream Wars book!
A new playbook to be part of the cyberpunk playset. Axolotls are little creatures that seem to have escaped from a sci-fi story, they have an incredible regenerating ability that's just crazy unreal—if a limb is badly injured, the regeneration kicks in and sometimes will grow a new limb as well as heal the injured one, ending up with 5 limbs! They can even regenarate their brain! And the folklore behind them is just as awesome. Just look at them:
So I think this playbook will be perfect for a cyberpunk setting, a rare nahual that is coveted by the megacorps for research purposes. Help this playbook come to existance, the axolotl will be grateful :)
I'm flying tomorrow night to attend the Metatopia game designers convention! I'll be running a playtest of Nahual, and other peple will be running it too! Mark Díaz Truman and Anne Ratchat will be helping me see for the first time how the game works without me at the MC seat. Another stretch goal unlocked! $30k passed. We were honestly hoping we might do around that much for the whole campaign. You amazing people make it so we passed that point in the first 3 days! Se volaron la barda!
The option to play with a diablo nahual is now unlocked! This playbook is gonna be so much fun to make. Thanks to everyone for making it happen!
That's right! We are going to make another print book! This one will include the PDF supplements unlocked so far (El Ensueño, the Murciélago playbook, Chinguere de Diablo, Diableros, and the Diablo playbook). And we may add more to it through future stretch goals!

I wasn't even able to announce the $20k stretch goal, the supplement for one shot rules, when you unlocked it last night! Awesome! This special supplement will include rules for playing one shots, but with a big epic bang!

As I type this, we're already so close to unlocking this one: a hack of Nahual for you to play as diableros, the demon trainers that catch and transform angels into demons to make them fight in the pits or sell them as guardian beasts. Let's get it unlocked!
The best companion for the Diableros hack, a Diablo playbook! Not all nahuales are animals, most of them are, sure...but there are some with a personality so strong and powerful that their totem manifests as a diablo! That's right! Horns and all!

Wow! This has been so crazy! Thank you everyone; you've been keeping me so busy and I love you for that. You are pushing Nahual beyond my craziest dreams! I know I've said this, but I can barely keep up...
I'm so excited that all the English speaking backers are gonna be able to read Operación Bolivar! The story is amazing and the art is so unique. And also we are adding one more playbook to the Corebook! Chingón!
And it's time to reveal the first PDF supplement! El Ensueño is gonna be a stand alone digital product that will open a whole new layer of play and folklore for the amazing stories in the world of Nahual.
And to accompany El Ensueño supplement, we have another playbook stretch goal: the Murciélago (The Bat)!
We're also increasing the limit of the Kibal pledge, in case someone wants to take home a super cool jaguar mask!
