Cyberpunk Hack on the works

Hey there, a quick update. I always try to have something juicy to share and say when donig an update. But then that means months pass before I do one. 

So, instead I'm just going to let you all know things are still moving and that I'm hiring more people to help me carry the weight of it. 

Here is a sneak peek to the cyberpunk "hack" of the game. The premise is that in the future megacorps rule the world and angels are extinct, but the corps managed to replicate them and now they make synth angels for multiple wicked reasons. However, some of those turn out defective and they killed them and dump them in landfills near the poorest barrios. Some aren't entirely dead, and mutate into aberrations that wreck havoc in the barrios. That's what your nahuales hunt now! 

This is still an early draft, so things may change. 

The plan was to call this Nahual 2049, but that year is kinda close, no? What do you all think, should I change that year or change to one farther into the future?

New Playbook: The Diablo!

Hey everyone, I'm so sorry for the long silence. We've been working hard to keep Dream Wars moving ahead. But life and work have been dragging us, making the progress on the second book harder than expected. 

New Playbook: the Diablo

Finally we have a new playbook to share with you all. The Diablo! A tormented soul that had a religious upbringing only to find out that their nahual is a demon!

As a special playbook it brakes a little the mold to bring new special mechanics. You can get thet PDF here, and try it for yourselves. Although done, this isn't 100% final so we'd love to hear your feedback on it. 

Also I'd like to thank Mike Ballesteros and Claudia Sánchez who worked on this playbook! I'm so proud and happy that they are helping with the project.

Diableros are coming!

We've also been making progress on the rules for playing with Diableros. This has required more work and multiple iterations to make it work. I can't share a pdf yet, but we are close to getting it done. And it will include new rules for training and fighting diablos in an arena. Here is a small snippet of it, keep in mind this is work in progress. 

I'm sorry for not been more communicative, but I've always wanted to share updates with you that have something concrete or done (or as close to done as possible), and that has taken longer than expected. I'm going to try a new thing, and I will instead share things that are unfinished, so you all can see we are still working. Just please keep in mind those things may drastically change as work progress. (Just as  an example, for the diablo pit-fights I had like 5 different iterations that didn't work, that's why I never shared them).

Thanks again for all your patience! And I'm sorry I have to ask for more of it. Being a tiny indie developer is so hard... (insert bowing emoji)

¡Los libros en español están listos!

¡Por fin! Los libros en español están listos. Hemos comenzado ha hacer los envíos en México y Latinoamérica. Los envíos a Estados Unidos y Europa estarán a cargo de Magpie Games y sus distribuidores. Las cajas con libros están en camino hacia allá, una vez que lleguen comenzaran los envíos en Estados Unidos. Y las cajas de libros correspondientes a Europa serán a su vez enviadas al distribuidor europeo. Les pido un poco más de paciencia.

Good News and Sorry for the Hiatus

Hello everyone! This is going to be a brief update. 

First and foremost, sorry for the hiatus and the radio silence. Crunch time in my day job and the work to push the Spanish version of the game through the finish line had taken over my life in the past months. But the project has been moving forward nontheless. And one of the main reasons is that I've brought new people to help me work the Dream Wars book. 

Two of them are the very talented Mike Balles and Claudia Sánchez, my dear friends and fellow Mexicans that have known the project closely for a while now, and are working with my lead in some of the materials to be included in the supplement. 

They are new designers, but are very enthusiastic and so eager to learn and do the hard work required to make the supplement as awesome as the core book. I'm so happy to bring new blood to the hobby and give them this opportunity. As soon as we have something ready to share with you all, we'll do so! Thanks—as always—for you incredible patience!
